Our School

Falmouth Elementary School operates from 8:25 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.

Falmouth Elementary will provide a nurturing, inclusive, and secure haven that inspires and challenges students, nurturing lifelong learners and responsible citizens.

• Goal 1:  Support high expectations for academic performance and expand opportunities for every student.
  • Objective:  Stafford Schools will close performance gaps between reporting categories, improving performance for every student.
    • Target 1:   By the end of the first quarter, all grade level PLCs will review the Pacing Guides and Curriculum Content resources in Reading and Math PLCs. Grade-Levels will ensure that at least 90% of the instructional material aligns with the Stafford Schools Pacing Guides.
    • Target 2: By the end of the second quarter, all grade level PLCs will discuss differentiating instruction to meet the needs of various learners, including SPED, ESOL, and GATES.
    • Target 3:  By the end of the second quarter, all grade-level PLCs will discuss differentiating instruction to meet the needs of various learners, including SPED, ESOL, and GATES.
• Goal 2:  Ensure every student, staff, and family member receives a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment in our schools. 
  • Objective:  Provide adequate resources to facilitate high-quality instruction. 
    • Target 1:   By the end of the first-semester, the school will develop and distribute a comprehensive resource guide for special education and ESOL families, covering relevant educational information, community services, and support networks.
    • Target 2:  By the end of each semester, the school will organize a series of workshops and training sessions for special education and ESOL families, focusing on enhancing their understanding of instructional strategies, technology tools, and effective ways to support learning at home.
    • Target 3:   Over the course of the academic year, the school will host at least three inclusive family events that celebrate the diversity of special education and ESOL families and provide opportunities for meaningful engagement.
• Goal 3:  Ensure every student, staff, and family member receives a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment in our schools.
  • Objective:  Ensure all students are physically, mentally, and emotionally safe in their learning environment.
    • Target 1:  By the end of each semester, the school will identify students with a chronic absenteeism issue and implement a personalized intervention plan for each student, involving parents/guardians, teachers, and counselors
    • Target 2:  By the end of the second quarter, 90% of students will have missed five or fewer days of school.
    • Target 3:  By the end of the school year, the school will implement a school-wide positive behavior support program that fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment, making students feel connected and engaged in their learning.
